Do you have a tough time figuring out what to cook for dinner? If so, read this blog post! Simple Cooking Tips has some great ideas on how to make cooking easier and less stressful. Check it out today!

1. Create your workspace by gathering all of the necessary tools and utensils, as well as a trashcan! Make sure to keep everything within arm’s reach so that you can clean up quickly after use.

2) To make an egg wash for pastries: whisk together one large egg with 1 tablespoon of water until it is smooth (about 30 seconds). Use this mixture when sealing any pastry or bread product; then brush on top for a glossy appearance.

3) Peel tomatoes effortlessly in just 15-30 second intervals! Cut an X into their tops before simmering them in hot water – let cool down afterward and the skin will fall right off easily from these ripe beauties without using chemicals like vinegar or lemon.

4) Invest in a baking scale and always read your recipe before you start cooking. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, invest time into the process of learning how to cook with people who can teach you new skills or take on tasks from which they are more experienced than yourself.

5) Clean as you go–it will save plenty of energy (and dishes!) later! And remember that most recipes use two skewers instead of one when grilling or roasting so food doesn’t spin while it cooks; also try adding some lemon juice if butter is browning too quickly because acidic citrus juices don’t burn as easily.

6) Salt is not just for flavor, it actually helps to break down the food so that your dish will have a deeper and more complex taste profile.

7) Replace minced shallots with chopped onions or garlic if you can’t find them at the grocery store; they are interchangeable in recipes!

8) Avoid preheating ovens too high because this could lead to overcooking foods before their time period has elapsed on paper – use an extra thermometer to make sure you’re cooking both accurately and thoroughly. Cooking times vary depending on how well done people want their dishes cooked. Let yourself be guided by smell, touch, and most importantly of all: TASTE.

9) Learn all the different ways to cook an egg. When poaching an egg, add a teaspoon of white vinegar to simmering water and poach for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through but not too soft.

For hardboiled eggs that are perfect every time without any guesswork, bring your pot of water to boiling point then reduce heat and let sit in a heated pot with no lid on top 20 seconds before transferring them into cold running tap water. The best way I’ve found is making sunny-side-up eggs by cooking over low heat with a covered pan while steaming it.

10) A pot of pasta is a dish that cooks in less than 10 minutes. This means you usually have to wait for the water to boil before adding it, which can make your meal seem like an eternity if there are multiple people waiting on food!

So don’t rinse off those noodles after cooking–they’ll soak up all the delicious sauce flavors while they’re sitting right there at the pot-side and will taste just as good without excess liquid clingin’ onto them too. A cast-iron skillet does wonder when sautéing garlic or onions because its heavyweight helps combat scorching (and burnt onion smells). You also get some bonus points with this little trick: sliced garlic has smaller pieces so it doesn’t burn quite as easily.
