  • The 7 Best Restaurants In Perth

The best restaurants in Perth are a dime a dozen, but that doesn’t mean they’re all created equal. The best way to find the best is by knowing what you want and sticking to your budget. We’ll talk about how you can do both of these things below!

One thing that’s great about Perth is all the amazing food options on offer. You don’t have to go out of your price range or settle for mediocrity when it comes to dining out in this city- there’s something for everyone here at any price point!

Balthazar

The restaurant is polished but accessible, business appropriate yet gives you a wink. It has timeless dining room vibes with an approachability that comes from being West Australian. Their tartare and terrine make for hedonistic dishes while their kangaroo loin and duck fat potatoes will please your palate as well! You can also be impressed by the impressive wall of wines they have available to pair perfectly with each course on the menu.

Bivouac

Biv’s Middle Eastern-inspired fare has been one of our go-to restaurants since 2011. It is an integral part of Northbridge and we can’t imagine William Street without it! The restaurant provides a warm ambience with above-and beyond service matched by its well balanced sharing menu that champions WA produce.

Authentic Bites Dumpling House

Authentic Bites has found a way to make their dumplings stand out with incredibly high-quality ingredients, cooked right in front of you. Their sister restaurant Juicy Bao is just up the road so it’s easy for me and my friends to go there too! It doesn’t hurt that Authentic Bits’ xiao long bao are juicy and hot when they arrive at our table (and even if I’m still holding them).

The potstickers were crispy once we got them home but most importantly they remained moist on the inside after cooking. Even though shumai isn’t quite as popular here, these ones didn’t disappoint either—they bounced back well from boiling water thanks to great preparation!

Bread In Common

Bread in Common has become one of the most reliable dining experiences in Freo. We’ll never go past their lamb ribs, but they have plenty other delicious dishes on the menu that are worth trying out too! Their bread is so well known now it’s practically ubiquitous and was even named by some as a game-changer for Perth restaurants.

Cosy Del’s

We have been talking about how much we love Laika’s Lathlain for a long time, so it was really exciting when they announced that there would be a bar and restaurant next door. The Cosy Del has lived up to our expectations- the steak is charred from being cooked on hibachi grill with lardo butter slathered over top of it – this dish alone makes us want more!

Drasko’s Hot Chicken

Drasko’s is the result of two very specific passions; fried chicken and nouveau-cuisine. The team at Draskos are meticulous about every ingredient, making sure to use nothing but Western Australian produce for their amazing array of flavors. Having opened several months ago with lines out the door, it’s no surprise that this restaurant has become a hot spot!

Heritage Wine Bar

With its white tablecloths, bentwood chairs and monochrome palette, Heritage Wine Bar has the classic good looks of a European bistro. Devoid of any trendy gimmicks or local flair that would be expected in Perth’s restaurant scene today, their menu is distinctively influenced by Europe but with unmistakable WA ingredients: think chicken and rabbit terrine with wattle seed and Geraldton wax; fish served on almond crumbs alongside sourdough bread & Warragal greens.

The past year has made us appreciate Perth’s restaurants more than ever. Whether you’re popping down the road for an impromptu visit to your neighborhood fave, or heading somewhere schmick for a special occasion – we’ve got our heads around what makes a great eatery and it is so much better now. Perth Bus and Coach Hire https://www.perthbusandcoach.com.au/ can take you to Perth’s top restaurants.
